I, hereby agree to the following:
1. That I am participating voluntarily in a retreat, class or workshop offered by Susan De Almeida Ferreira. I recognise that yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation and I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program.
2. I understand that I may receive physical assists or adjustments to enhance or correct my body posture during class by either the teacher or an assistant in class. I will take accountability for alerting the teacher and assistant of any injury or impairment in advance before the class begins or if I do not want to receive any assists.
3. I understand that photos may be taken of the class and used by Susan De Almeida Ferreira for promotional purposes.
4. I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Susan De Almeida Ferreira for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.
5. I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release waive, discharge and covenant not to sue for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.
6. I agree that Susan De Almeida Ferreira is in no way responsible for the loss or damage of any of my belongings while I attend class/workshop/retreat.
7. Due to cancellation or other situations beyond control Susan De Almeida Ferreira reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. In the event that a retreat is cancelled, the costs paid for the retreat, except transportation fares and any other additional associated costs to customer will be refunded in full.
8. I am aware that my deposit is non-refundable (unless in the circumstance that the retreat is cancelled). Whilst cancellations are treated with sympathy, the following charges apply:
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Once payment has been made in full as at end April 2025 no refunds can be issued. In the event that you are no longer able to attend after April 2025 the space will be advertised. If the space is subsequently filled funds will be reimbursed except the deposit which will be retained to cover administration and venue costs.
